Location: Sloane Square, London Salary: £300 per week Contract Type: Long-Term, Part-Time, Term Time Only Hours: 1:00pm - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP
A welcoming and high‑achieving primary school in Sloane Square is seeking a friendly and organised Front of Office Receptionist/Administrator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain school-based administrative experience. No prior experience is required - the school is looking for someone with the right attitude, strong people skills, and a professional, confident telephone manner.
This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the school's daily operations. You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, helping to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies.
- Answer phone calls and manage enquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Support the office team with general administrative tasks, including filing, emails, and data entry.
- Assist with pupil attendance, sign‑in procedures, and safeguarding protocols.
- Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to staff and contribute to the smooth running of the school office.
