Veritas Education is currently recruiting an experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role at a supportive primary school in Tottenham.
This position is ideal for a dedicated SEN TA who has previous experience working in a Special Educational Needs-focused role, supporting primary-aged pupils with additional needs.
The Role:
Providing one-to-one and small group support within a primary setting
Supporting pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Assisting the class teacher with differentiated activities and lesson delivery
Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional development
Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Experience working in an SEN-focused role (essential)
Experience supporting children in a primary school setting
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
