Are you a confident, resilient KS1 or KS2 Teacher available to start work immediately? We are currently seeking a committed and passionate Class Teacher to join a supportive school in LS10, Leeds, working with pupils who benefit from strong structure, consistency, and positive behaviour strategies.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is confident in managing behaviour, building strong relationships, and making a genuine impact on pupils' learning and wellbeing.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of learning needs
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using clear, consistent strategies
- Support pupils with challenging behaviour, promoting positive choices and emotional regulation
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning and delivery
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
- Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour confidently and calmly
- Strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, proactive, and resilient approach to teaching
