Veritas Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Pontefract and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact in different school environments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects (planning may be minimal for short-term cover).
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Adapt to different school settings and year groups.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
