Veritas Education Agency is currently recruiting a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a 2-form entry primary school located in Tower Hamlets. The school is Ofsted-rated Good and has a strong reputation for inclusive practice and supportive leadership.
This role is ideal for a confident SEN TA with solid, hands-on experience supporting pupils with additional needs. The school is seeking someone who can make an immediate impact and work effectively as part of a committed SEN team. The position is available for an ASAP start.
The Role:Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs
Supporting children with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development throughout the school day
Helping pupils access the curriculum and engage positively in classroom activities
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Substantial previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)
Confidence working with children with complex or challenging needs
Strong behaviour management skills
A calm, resilient, and patient approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Availability to start immediately
Ofsted Good primary school
