Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools Location: South East London Start Date: ASAPPay: £100-£120 depending on experience
We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for confident, reliable individuals who enjoy working with young people and want flexible work in education.
The Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. Work will be on behalf of an agency, meaning you may work in different schools, gaining valuable experience across a range of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising classes and ensuring students remain on task
Delivering pre-set work and managing classroom behaviour
Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson
Requirements:
Experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable)
Strong classroom presence and good behaviour management skills
Confidence, flexibility, and a professional attitude
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
