Veritas Education are recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Islington.
The school offers a warm, supportive environment and is looking for a reliable, confident TA who can work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language needs.
Role Overview:
Full-time SEN TA position
Working 1:1 and in small groups across EYFS/KS1/KS2 (depending on experience)
Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs
Helping to create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Requirements:
Previous SEN experience is essential
Experience supporting children in a primary school setting
Strong communication skills and a patient, caring approach
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Reliable, proactive and committed to helping pupils thrive
