Year 5 Teacher - Lancaster
Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Long-term sickness cover (until at least February half term) Location: Lancaster
Veritas Education is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Lancaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real impact during a crucial period.
Role Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching to Year 5 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Essential Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively with school staff.
- A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one.
