Reception Teaching Assistant - Garstang Area
Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Until July 2026 Location: Garstang
Veritas Education is seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Garstang area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting early years education.
Role Responsibilities:- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Support pupils' learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed.
- Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Essential Requirements:- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (EYFS experience desirable).
- Experience supporting phonics teaching and early reading development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one.
