Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Dewsbury. This is a full-time contract position running from January 2026 until July 2026, covering the remainder of the academic year.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues and contribute to wider school life.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
