Attendance Officer - Secondary School
Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour Contract Type: Ongoing Working Through: Veritas Education
Veritas Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Attendance Officer to join a welcoming secondary school located in Bradford BD16. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting student attendance and engagement.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an attendance role within an educational setting is essential.
- Ideally, you will hold a DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with school attendance systems and procedures.
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and recording student attendance.
- Following up on absences and liaising with parents/carers.
- Working closely with pastoral staff and senior leadership to improve attendance.
- Producing attendance reports and maintaining accurate records.
This is an ongoing role with an immediate start, offering a competitive hourly rate and the chance to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.
