Start Date: ASAP
Location: Darlington
Pay: £90-£105 p/day
Veritas Education is proud to be working with a dedicated and inclusive special school in Darlington, which caters for pupils aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of complex needs.
We are seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This is a nurturing and well-resourced special school that supports children and young people who are autistic or have profound, moderate, severe, or complex learning difficulties. The school is committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where every learner can thrive.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)
- Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Is committed to supporting the individual needs of each pupil
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (child and adult preferable)
