Teaching Assistant - KS1 Support Location: Morecambe Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:00 Start Date: January 2026
Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Morecambe. This role involves working closely with KS1 pupils, providing one-to-one and small group support.
- Deliver targeted support to KS1 pupils in both individual and group settings.
- Assist with phonics sessions and early literacy development.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure pupil progress.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting KS1 pupils.
- Strong knowledge and experience in phonics.
- Ability to build rapport with young learners and adapt to their needs.
