SEN Teaching Assistants - Harrogate and surrounding areas
Do you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We're looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join some of our primary schools across Harrogate and surrounding areas and make a real difference in pupil's lives.
The need is higher than ever in mainstream schools and we are always looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to help in supporting in the classroom or on a 1:1 basis from Early Years through to KS2. Experience would be ideal but if you have personal experience and show a clear passion for supporting those with SEN the skills are very transferable and being able to build rapport and relationships with the students is one of the key factors, whilst also being able to manage the behaviour and set clear boundaries.
What you'll do:
- Provide tailored support to children with a range of needs
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver inclusive learning
- Help create a positive, nurturing classroom environment

Requirements:
- Experience working with SEN pupils (desirable)
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
