ASD Teacher - Watford

We're working with a specialist SEN school in Watford seeking a compassionate and skilled ASD Teacher to join their team. The school supports pupils aged 7-16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated communication and sensory needs, offering a highly structured and positive setting.

The role:

  • Teaching small classes of pupils with ASD, following individual learning plans

  • Working closely with therapists and support staff

  • Creating lessons that are engaging, differentiated, and tailored to pupils' needs

  • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

  • Proven experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • ASD/TEACCH/PECS certification or relevant SEN training desirable but not essential

  • Empathy, patience, and a creative approach to teaching

  • Details:

  • Location: Watford

  • Pay: £150-£250 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

  • Full-time, long-term position
