School Receptionist & Administrator - Bradford & Keighley £13.50 per hour | Full-Time, Term-Time | Immediate Start | Temporary Ongoing
Veritas Education is currently recruiting School Receptionists/Administrators to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across the Bradford and Keighley areas. These roles are ideal for individuals with strong administrative skills and a friendly, professional manner who enjoy working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
We are looking for candidates who can confidently manage front-of-house duties while also supporting wider school administration tasks. Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential - we welcome applications from experienced administrators who are quick to learn and thrive in busy office environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries
- Supporting attendance and pupil records
- Handling confidential information with discretion
- Assisting with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Using school systems (e.g. SIMS) to update records and support office functions
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in reception or administrative roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Experience in school office systems (e.g. SIMS) is an advantage but not essential
- Available for immediate start and able to commit to full-time, term-time hours
