Veritas Education are working with a warm and welcoming one-form entry faith primary school in the heart of Islington, who are seeking a caring and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 6 with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN) and some low-level behavioural needs.

About the Role
- Provide 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil with additional learning and emotional needs.
- Help the pupil to engage positively with learning and build confidence and independence.
- Implement individualised support strategies as directed by the class teacher and SENCo.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support social and emotional development.
- Work closely with the Year 6 class teacher, SENCo, and parents to ensure consistent support.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children with SEN and/or behavioural needs (school-based experience preferred).
- Is patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Demonstrates good communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach.
- Is committed to supporting children's academic and emotional development.
- Is aligned with the inclusive, caring ethos of a faith school environment.
- Ideally holds a relevant qualification in child support or education (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification).
