Location: Bexley, South East London Position: Primary Teaching Assistant (1:1 and Small Group Support) Start Date: November 2025 Pay: £95 - £115 per day
Veritas Education are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bexley to recruit a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from November 2025.
This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is recognised for its strong community spirit and commitment to nurturing the whole child. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver high-quality support to pupils, helping them to build confidence, develop key skills, and engage positively with learning.
This role would suit someone who is caring, patient, and enthusiastic about making a real difference in children's lives, particularly those with additional learning needs.
The Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant Will Have:
Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting (essential)
A solid understanding of strategies to support learning, communication, and behaviour
Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with children who require extra support
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families
Main Responsibilities Include:
Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils in class
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated activities
Promoting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
Using creative and engaging strategies to help children reach their full potential
