Cover Supervisor
Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work in a secondary school setting? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy the variety of daily supply roles?
We are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join our supply pool. This role is ideal for individuals with previous school experience who are happy to take on last-minute bookings (sometimes morning of). This is open to people with both full and part time/changing availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences across a range of subjects
- Ensure students remain on task and follow the lesson plans provided
- Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed
- Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership when required
Person Specification:
- Previous experience working in a secondary school
- Confident managing classroom behaviour and engaging students
- Flexible, reliable, and able to respond to short-notice bookings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A degree or teaching-related qualification is desirable but not essential
