Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Contract: Flexible Supply / Short-Term / Long-Term Opportunities Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis? We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to join our education supply agency and work across primary schools in the Wakefield area. We offer a range of placements, including day-to-day supply cover and long-term opportunities, giving you flexibility and variety.

Your responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 support to children with SEN to help them access the curriculum
- Assisting with classroom activities, learning resources, and behaviour management
- Supporting the development of social, emotional, and academic skills
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Building strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN (school, nursery, or care setting)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
