HLTA - Blackburn Start Date: Immediate Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Contract Type: Ongoing
We are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across a primary school in Blackburn. The role involves delivering targeted interventions in the morning and covering PPA sessions in the afternoon across various year groups. This is a great opportunity for someone confident in leading learning and supporting pupils across the curriculum. A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience, along with recent classroom-based experience, is expected.

- Leading small group or one-to-one interventions in literacy and numeracy Delivering planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 during PPA cover Supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with SEN or EAL Managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning environments Collaborating with teaching staff to support planning and pupil progress
- Qualifications
- HLTA Status (recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent) Evidence of recent and relevant CPD (e.g. safeguarding, behaviour management) Experience delivering planned lessons and interventions
