Veritas Education is currently seeking a School Bursar to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Morecambe. This is a full-time, term-time only position, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the school
- Manage budgets, invoices, and payroll in line with school policies
- Liaise with senior leadership and external agencies on financial matters
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Support administrative functions as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school bursar or finance-related role
- Strong understanding of school finance systems and procedures
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
