Veritas Education is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a high-achieving secondary school in Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across KS3 and KS4, supporting students in a range of subjects and contributing to their academic and personal development.
About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' learning, wellbeing, and attendance. You'll work closely with the SEN department to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support across KS3/KS4 subjects
- Assist with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Monitor student progress and contribute to reports
- Support students with SEND, working collaboratively with the SEN team
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Experience working in a school or educational setting (preferred)
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability, patience, and a proactive attitude
- A degree in any subject area is desirable
