Veritas Education is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis across a range of secondary schools in the Kirklees area. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to step into a classroom-based role.
The Role:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
- Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement
- Support the wider school community as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with young people (in education, coaching, youth work, etc.)
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to working in different school environments
- A genuine interest in education and supporting student development
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
