School Technicians Wanted - Science, IT & DT - Secondary Schools - West Yorkshire ???? Temporary, Ad Hoc & Ongoing Roles Available Via Veritas Education
Veritas Education is currently recruiting skilled and proactive technicians to support Science, IT, and Design Technology departments in secondary schools across West Yorkshire. These are temporary roles, covering staff absences and supporting curriculum delivery on an ad hoc or ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for lessons
- Supporting teachers during practical sessions
- Maintaining and repairing tools, machinery, and IT equipment
- Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld in labs and workshops
- Managing stock and ordering supplies
We're Looking For:
- Experience in a technician role (school-based or industry)
- Strong practical and technical skills in Science, IT or DT
- Good organisational and communication abilities
- A flexible and reliable approach to work
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
