KS2 Teacher - Romford Location: Romford, East London/Essex Border Salary: Paid to scale (Outer London) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-term with the potential to become permanent Agency: Veritas Education
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-organised primary school in Romford to recruit an experienced and confident KS2 Teacher. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The school has a strong and supportive leadership team, high expectations for both pupils and staff, and a positive, inclusive ethos. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and collaborative KS2 team.
The Role:
- Full-time teaching role within Key Stage 2 (specific year group to be confirmed based on experience)
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Work effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - no ECTs for this role
- Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in UK primary schools
- Strong behaviour management skills and a consistent approach to teaching
- Able to plan, deliver and assess to a high standard
- Committed to pupil progress, safeguarding, and inclusion
