Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher ready for a new challenge? Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious 2-form entry primary school in Newham to appoint a skilled Year 6 Teacher to join their team immediately following interviews in two weeks' time.
About the Role:
You will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, delivering high-quality teaching and preparing pupils for a successful transition to secondary school. You will work closely with a parallel class teacher and benefit from shared planning, collaborative CPD, and a supportive senior leadership team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- A clear understanding of the KS2 curriculum and end-of-key-stage assessments
- A track record of raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - no ECTs will be considered for this role
