Teaching Assistant
Primary School- KS2 Full-Time (Term-time only) immediate Start
Location: Waltham Forest, East London
Hours: 8:30- 4 Start Date: Immediate or ASAP Contract Type: Long-Term (potential for permanent role) Pay: £90-£130
Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Veritas Education is currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced staff and make a real difference in the lives of young learners across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
The Role:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities
- Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
- Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist with classroom preparation, resource management, and behaviour management
- Contribute to pupils' academic and social development throughout the school day
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- A patient, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) are desirable but not essential.
