English Teacher - Secondary School - Lewisham Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full Academic Year (Temp to Perm Opportunity) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Location: Lewisham, South East London
We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Lewisham to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position for the entire academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.
The Role:
Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons
Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Contributing to the wider school community and department initiatives

Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)
Ability to engage, inspire, and challenge students
