Teaching Assistants Required - Secondary School - Burnley Full-Time | Long-Term | Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
A well-established secondary school in Burnley is seeking dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistants to join their team. These are full-time, long-term roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting students in their educational journey and who demonstrate a high level of commitment and reliability.
What We're Looking For:
- A recognised qualification in supporting teaching and learning
- Applicants must hold a Level 2, Level 3, or HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) qualification
- Previous experience working in a secondary school environment is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and proactive approach to classroom support
- A genuine interest in helping young people succeed
Role Overview:
- Supporting students aged 11-16 in a range of subjects
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where needed
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and resource preparation
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment

- Location: Burnley, Lancashire
- Start Date: Immediate or negotiable
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Long-term with a view to becoming permanent
