Are you looking to gain valuable experience in secondary schools? Do you have a passion for education and the confidence to lead a classroom? We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our team for flexible daily supply work across a range of secondary schools in the Bexley area.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You'll be expected to deliver pre-set lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering pre-prepared lessons to secondary students (ages 11-16)
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
Ensuring a safe and supportive classroom environment
Ideal Candidate:
Confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, coaching, youth work) is desirable
A degree or relevant qualification is advantageous but not essential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
