Cover Supervisor - Halifax Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire Contract: Full-time or Ad-hoc Supply Start Date: Ongoing
Veritas Education are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Halifax area to recruit a Cover Supervisor. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to work full-time or on an ad-hoc supply basis to fit around your availability.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task and follow set lesson plans. This is a great opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching, recent graduates, or those with classroom experience looking for flexible work.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Provide feedback to the school regarding student progress and behaviour.
