Job Advert: Level 3 Early Years Educator - Permanent Position
Location: BD3, Bradford Hours: 37 hours per week, Term-Time Only Position: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our dedicated team at a small, friendly, and community-focused private day nursery based in Bradford (BD3). Our nursery offers a warm, nurturing environment for children aged 2-5 years, where you'll be an integral part of shaping their early learning journey.
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will work as a Key Person for a group of children, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. You will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that promotes positive outcomes for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a Key Person to develop strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
Plan and deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Ensure that the learning environment is rich, varied, and meets the developmental needs of all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, using knowledge and skills to plan for their next steps.
Provide a safe and inclusive environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals to deliver exceptional childcare.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to regular progress meetings with parents.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
A Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
Over 2 years' experience working within a private nursery setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures.
A genuine passion for working with children aged 2-5 years and a commitment to their development.
Excellent communication skills with both children and adults (including parents and colleagues).
The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative when needed.
A positive, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to early years education.
