Early Years Practitioners Wanted - Level 2 & Level 3 Harrogate | Flexible Working | Private Day Nurseries
Are you a nurturing, passionate Early Years Practitioner with a love for supporting children's learning and development? We're looking for Level 2 and Level 3 qualified practitioners to join our growing team, working across beautiful, well-established private day nurseries in Harrogate.
What you'll be doing:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality childcare, supporting children's developmental milestones, and creating stimulating learning environments that inspire curiosity and creativity.
You'll support across all age groups - from baby room to toddler and pre-school, following the EYFS framework and promoting learning through play.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to support Prime and Specific Areas of learning
Observe, assess and record children's progress
Promote personal, social, and emotional development
Encourage communication and language skills, physical development, and early literacy and numeracy
Build strong relationships with children, families, and nursery teams
Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times

- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential) - Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) - A genuine passion for early childhood education - Flexible, enthusiastic and able to adapt to different settings - Good communication and teamwork skills-A valid DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one
