KS1 Teacher - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and committed KS1 Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for a full-time position starting in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 1
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess and track pupil progress to ensure every child achieves their full potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support pupil development
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including staff meetings, planning sessions, and school events
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching in KS1 within a UK primary school
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Is reflective, organised, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
- Has a strong understanding of phonics and early literacy and numeracy development
