Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Flexible Role

Veritas Education is working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Greenwich to recruit an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a flexible position, offering up to five days per week, and will involve working across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Adapt to different year groups and classroom environments as needed
- Assist teachers with planning, assessment, and classroom management
- Support behaviour management strategies and promote a positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
- Has previous experience in a UK primary school setting
- Is confident leading learning across all primary key stages
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organisational, and behaviour management skills
- Is flexible, reliable, and proactive in their approach to supporting pupils and staff
