Early Years Teaching Assistant - Level 3 Independent Prep School | Southwark | September Start
Location: Southwark, London Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a leading independent prep school in Southwark, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, to recruit a qualified Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and caring individual to join a thriving Early Years team in a school known for its warm ethos, academic excellence, and exceptional pupil support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the daily delivery of a creative and stimulating Early Years curriculum
- Supporting children's learning through play and structured activities
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Encouraging children's development across all areas - social, emotional, physical, and academic
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential
- Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or Reception classroom setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
