Position: Site Manager Location: Primary School, Harrogate Contract: Permanent Hours: Split shifts - flexibility required
Are you a proactive, reliable, and hands-on professional with experience in school facilities management? Our primary school in Harrogate is looking for a dedicated Site Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the school site and facilities
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Coordinate maintenance and cleaning teams
- Assist with health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and compliance
- Liaise with external contractors and ensure works are completed to a high standard
- Provide support for events and school activities as required
- Ensure a welcoming and safe environment for staff, students, and visitors
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in school or facilities management (preferred)
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work split shifts and adapt to the needs of the school
