About Us: We are seeking a reliable and passionate Supply Early Years Practitioner to join our team and work across various nurseries in Leeds. The Role: As a Supply Early Years Practitioner, you will work across multiple nurseries in Leeds, supporting their teams in delivering high-quality early years education and care. This role is pre-booked supply only, meaning you will be given advanced notice of your shifts and have the flexibility to choose your schedule. You'll work with different age groups and environments, gaining varied and enriching experience while maintaining your preferred work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging activities to support children's development across a variety of nursery settings.
Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress.
Supporting children with their social, emotional, and educational needs.
Maintaining a high standard of care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Building positive relationships with nursery teams, children, and parents.
Following safeguarding policies and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Essential Criteria:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
Previous experience working within early years settings.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to adapt to different settings and work independently.
Full DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Ideally, hold a current Pediatric First Aid qualification (but not essential).
