Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified)
Location: Leeds Position: Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified) Contract: 3 days a week, Long-Term Contract Start Date: September Shifts: 7.5 hours per day
About Us: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality early years education and care. You will work closely with our team to provide an engaging, stimulating, and safe environment for children aged age group, e.g., 0-5 years. You will be expected to plan and implement activities, observe and assess children's progress, and support their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and educational activities to support the development of children.
Observing, assessing, and documenting children's progress and development.
Working as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of care and education are met.
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children's emotional well-being.
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the children.
Communicating effectively with parents and carers about children's progress.
Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Essential Criteria:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Ideally, hold a current Pediatric First Aid qualification (or be willing to obtain one).
