Early Years Teaching Assistant - Elephant and Castle Location: Elephant and Castle, London Contract: Full-time / Part-time available Start Date: Immediate or September 2025 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Are you passionate about supporting young children's learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive setting in Elephant and Castle.
About the Role:
As an Early Years TA, you will:
- Assist in delivering engaging activities that support children's development
- Provide one-to-one and group support for children's learning and wellbeing
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment
- Work closely with teachers and staff to support children's individual needs
- Support daily routines, including mealtimes, playtime, and personal care
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting
- A caring and patient approach with a genuine interest in children's development
- Basic knowledge of the EYFS framework is a plus
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant childcare qualifications or willingness to train
