Role Overview:
We seek a passionate and skilled D.T teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. You'll be responsible for inspiring students, developing their practical and technical skills, and ensuring their academic growth. You will also maintain a safe and well-equipped workshop, while collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach D.T across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both theory and practical aspects.
Manage and maintain practical workshops safely.
Differentiate lessons to support all student needs.
Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation.
Foster a passion for D.T in students, encouraging future pathways in the subject.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of the D.T curriculum (GCSE/BTEC).
Experience in teaching both practical and theory-based lessons.
Ability to inspire and engage students.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
