Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Lancaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, fostering a love for learning, and supporting the development of every child in their care.
This position is to start immediately on a long term basis. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic, emotional, and social development of all pupils.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities where possible.
About You:
- We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Is passionate about education and committed to creating an engaging learning environment.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is proactive, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
