Veritas Education partners with a wide range of nurseries and primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for both long-term and short-term roles, as well as permanent and daily supply positions. We collaborate with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Room Leaders for a children's centre in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The ideal candidates will have experience supporting children with special educational needs and will have a Level 6 qualification. As a Room Leader, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care and education to the children in your care. The role will involve taking on responsibility for the management of the classroom. Strong leadership, organisational skills, and experience in managing a team or classroom are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a designated room, ensuring the smooth daily operation and high standards of care.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of children.
- Supervise and support a team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Build positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards at all times.
You will have:
- Relevant experience in supporting children's learning, ideally in an educational setting
- Level 6 qualification (or equivalent) and prior leadership or supervisory experience are desirable
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on children's learning and development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
