Job Advertisement: Early Years Practitioner
Location: LancasterPosition: Full-time (Monday to Friday)Hours: 9 AM - 4 PMStart Date: Monday, 28th October
We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team in the 3 to 4 age room. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support young children's development in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 3 to 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning across all areas of development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a supportive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
- At least a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification or above, such as:
- BIIAB Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
- City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (England)
- Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
- NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
- BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Children's Play, Learning and Development (Early Years Practitioner)
- Pearson BTEC Level 2 Diploma for Early Years Practitioners
- Skillsfirst Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (RQF)
- TQUK Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (RQF)
- Highfield Level 2 Diploma for Early Years Practitioners (England) (RQF)
- Level 2 Diploma in Early Years Practitioner
- Previous experience working with young children is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's growth and development.
