This is a full-time, long-term Maternity Cover Year 5 Teacher opportunity, open to ECTs and experienced Teachers. Year 5 Teacher required to start from December 2024, with the potential of Permanent posting.
This is progressive 1-form entry Primary School in Waltham Forest is looking for an exceptional Year 5 Teacher to join in December 2024 and hit the ground running. You must have excellent behaviour management and the drive to help make a difference in a community led Primary School. Year 5 Teacher will need to be:

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be in line with the School Mission Statement, to be responsible for the welfare and education of a designated group of pupils in accordance with the requirements of the National curriculum, the school's aims, objectives and schemes of work and any policies of the Governing Body.
Year 5 Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out teaching duties in accordance with the school's schemes of work, National Curriculum and designated subject areas.
- Liaise with colleagues to deliver units of work in a collaborative way in accordance with the School Development Plan.
- Work with teaching assistants, the SENCO and the inclusion team.
- Set challenging targets for pupil attainment levels.
- Be an exemplar teacher.
- Share in the responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils.
