Role Overview:
As a Year 4 Teacher at Accrington Primary School, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive teaching to a diverse group of students. You will create a stimulating learning environment, plan and deliver lessons that cater to various learning styles, and assess and track student progress to ensure all children achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each child.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching practices within the school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably with a strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed.
