Veritas Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-regarded independent primary school in Lambeth to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant for an Easter 2026 start.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher, supporting pupils through 1:1 and small-group interventions to ensure they are fully engaged and able to reach their potential.

The Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant Will Have:
* Experience supporting children in a primary school setting * Good understanding of strategies to support learning, communication, and behaviour * A calm, nurturing, and resilient approach * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Main Responsibilities Include:
* Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group support * Assisting the class teacher with differentiated classroom activities * Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development * Using creative and engaging approaches to enhance learning * Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the class teacher * Helping to maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
