Physics Teacher - Sheffield Starting September 2025 or Sooner

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Sheffield from September 2025 (or sooner). Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcome to apply!

The Role: As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons in Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll inspire students to develop a love for the subject, encouraging scientific enquiry and curiosity. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging Physics lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting students in developing a deep understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop schemes of work and resources.
  • Contributing to school activities and science-related events.
  • Staying up to date with developments in the curriculum and teaching methods.
  • The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher who possesses:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics (specialising in other sciences is a bonus).
  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 (ECTs welcome).
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
  • Creative lesson planning and the ability to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with colleagues.
