Year 3 Primary Teacher
Daily Rate: £145 - £200
Location: Wakefield
Type of Role: Full-time and Part-time options
We are seeking a dedicated and confident Year 3 Primary Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in the heart of Wakefield. This school provides a supportive and engaging environment and the school is committed to providing consistency in teaching and ensuring the growth and development of every child. Both full-time and part-time roles are available.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to Year 3 students
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall planning and delivery of the curriculum.
- Participate in school-wide activities and events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in managing challenging behaviour and implementing effective behaviour strategies.
- Strong understanding of child development and different learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
